This is a biography and life story of the photographer Alexander Gardner (1821-1882). Famous for his photographs of the Civil War, Railroad and Native Americans as well as President Abraham Lincoln. The pages are numbered from the front cover to page 23, the scans were released by the Library of Congress (LoC), the book pamphlet was printed in 1883. And since it was published before 1922 is currently in the Public Domain in the United States of America. The image of the reverse side of the front cover was not part of "LoC" images nor was the reverse side of the back cover, both of which are presumably blank.
